WaHI Online Redesigned and Enhanced   

Welcome to the new and improved Washington Heights & Inwood Online. The site has been redesigned to make it more visually appealing, faster-loading and easier to navigate than ever. The code follows current Web standards — XHTML and CSS — so you will need to use a “modern” browser to view it properly. Netscape 4 doesn’t cut it, so get rid of it and download a recent version of any of the browsers out there.

Several sections in the Web site have also been enhanced to make it easier for community members to participate, contribute and share:

• Photo Gallery is now fully automated: You can now register and upload photos without the Webmaster’s intervention.
• Events Calendar now shows the days of the week for events (not just the date), and it shows dates and times in American (rather than military or European) format, so it’s less confusing.
• Articles in the News and History sections can now be easily sent to your friends.
