Upcoming Capital Improvements in Ft. Tryon Park   

From Jane Schachat, Director of Northern Manhattan Parks: “Yesterday [7/22/03] I had an onsite with our Capital Division and the contractor for the restoration of the Linden Terrace and the bluestone entry at Margaret Corbin Circle. Work is scheduled to start August 18th and should be completed by next spring. We are scheduling it so that the entry into the Garden will be open most of the time and that the work in the Circle will not interfere with the Medieval Festival. I know the entry has been in a deteriorating condition for several years. We look forward to the improvements.”
